Sunshine at "The Gym" yesterday - - - & - - - All square on the EU referendum

Enjoy the day – Enjoy the weather

LOCAL WEATHER TODAY
the Netweather radar shows a huge blob of rain out over Ireland and the Atlantic.  Its headed our way but i dont think we will see much of it before 20:00
locally just now we look to be clear of anything to dampen the spirits.  The Met O Peak district forecast is for rain this afternoon, light between 12:00 and 15:00 and A heavy period between 15:00 to 210:00.  Metcheck agrees and has a similar wet story to tell for the day - - -
the Temp earlier was single figures at 8.5c but its warming up now
sunshine at last!! on the weathercam view this morning

With a spring in my step i shot off to "The Gym" after our weekly shopping trip for a couple of hours logging yesterday
i set about burning the brashings in what looks like a bomb crater
it took some time to get going due to there being very little wind.
eventually almost all of it had burned and i only had to throw the few branches on the right into the flames
as predicted as soon as i cover up the new stash the rain stops.  The sunshine was quite a surprise though and it soon clouded over again
there might just be enough firewood here to complete the outside wall of the stash
an hour or so later and i'm done
with quite a bit added to the wall at this end

A few lightening storms were around last night
and the weathercam picked up this string of flashes from an electrical storm some way off to the West
This still photo shows one of the flashes at 22:50 with just barely any light in the sky.  A star can be seen near the top right of the shot
=======================
this morning there was even some blue sky showing from this view at the top of the garden
in the pond the water lilly has at least 3 flowers ready to give us a show

A PEEK AT THE PAPER
The suspect in the death of Jo Cox appeared in court  and claimed his name was "death to traitors"  His lawyer told the court legal aid had been applied for and that there was no indication what Mair's plea would be to the charges.
I cant find the story to go with the banner headline about "why we must leave the EU" but Apparently Brexit is "Gods View" of the situation according to Paul Hedger a church leader in Cambridgeshire.  Looking at the flavour of the campaign now the Guardian claims its a 50/50 split now.   Sounds to me that all the polls are being set aside as we approach Thursday, the day of the referendum - - -
