LOCAL WEATHER TODAY
Not too much currently showing on the Netweather rain display although Leeds looks to be having some thunder and lightening right now.  Yesterday a series of thunderstorms developed both North and South of our area.  We did get some cloud developing during the afternoon but the rain held off
With a Temp well into the teen figures it could be another warm day for us, the humidity is pretty high at the moment so it might be a "sticky day"
A rather tranquil looking weathercam this morning but its a fine looking sky right now.  Today's forecast is once again a finger in the air affair.  Its going to be a nice day but the cloud will "bubble up" in the afternoon which could lead to a few showers

Another fine day yesterday took me up for a couple of hours "in the gym!"
smashing these rounds is hard work
getting down to the thick end of the trunk i find the centre just too knotted to smash and have to resort to sawing this lump into chunks

The challenge of the Jackdaws continues with this early morning raider having perfected his jump from the fence top to the peanut feeder.  I have a modicum of success with the fatball screening pieces of wood maybe the peanut feeder needs to be next! - - -

A PEEK AT THE NEWS
A chilling story here on the front of the Express as a former head of the London Pension Fund Authority says "Britain must get out of the EU to avoid a Federal Tax System - - - hopefully another boost for the brexit campaign - - -

Devastation and destroyed homes along the northern beaches  of  Sydney as they have had a winter storm and a King Tide lashes the New South Wales Shoreline. Some 7 multi million dollar homes are left uninhabitable by the storms - - -
