No rain from yesterday's storm clouds passing by - - - & - - - Post Brexit fill the news

Enjoy the day – Enjoy the weather

LOCAL WEATHER TODAY
the circulating weather system is still with us and set to deliver some rain today
locally it looks as if the large blob is heading for us.  When you run the animation however it looks as if it might just pass us to the south
A double figure Temp start to the day with not even a whisper of wind yet
the weathercam has an almost fully covered cloudy sky.  The usual forecasters are not on the money this morning.  One says it should be clear sky until 09:00 the other that it should be showery right now.  I reckon we might see some sunshine later but the chances of rain today are more than likley

With the initial Brexit euphoria washing over me yesterday there's no time for hanging about its off to the Gym
The stash we emptied for this years winter wood store needs tidying up so i cut up the sticks  which have been holding the plastic cover in place.  They were added to the small pile covered with the white plastic sheeting
some were a little too weather worn so i stacked them and covered them with a little bit of plastic.  Somewhere for the bugs to go in winter.
I'm back on the knoll today clearing up from earlier in the year.
looking down on the area of where the two large trees lay i can just make out the couple of trees in the stream on the right of the photo which hopefully i can pull out with Boris on Monday and add them to the stash
there is quite a bit of wood on the reverse side of the knoll so i decide another stash is called for
my clearing up produces enough wood to mark out the outer walls of the stash just up from the one i stacked up by the track earlier in the year
finished for the day and off home before the forecast thunderstorms appear
sitting in the garden later we have a grandstand view of the passing clouds but only get a spit spot of rain ourselves
These nasturtiums growing in the gravel on the top terrace are the first to flower this year

A PEEK AT THE PAPER

A predictably jubilant note to the front page of the Express. With the Post Brexit result filling the news.   The Article behind the headline has some interesting facts including the Scots now wanting to have another refrendum to leave the Union, oh what a surprise! but they also want to negotiate to stay part of the EU! which would bite them on the backside if they do.  The EU boss Mr Junker wants us out ASAP and the rest of the "Fat Controllers" are quaking in their boots wondering what the fallout will be from our exit.  - - - In reality there will be lots of in-fighting amongst our political parties and people will come and go - - - as expected.
