The weather direction has been all over the place recently and today is no exception. We have another change this morning with a NE flow. As long as the rain blobs keep coming its going to be a case of when they drench us rather than if today.
Once more day just below the double figures with the Temp today. Yesterdays wind has disappeared and at the moment no rain is falling although we had a light shower about an hour ago

The Met O is giving out the possibility of a sunny morning with a brief period when showers are likely 12:00 to 15:00. Metcheck has sunshine until 12:00 then the possibility of light rain showers 12:00 to 21:00. Max Temp is said to be around 12c - - -

My foray at my ATA was an eye opener yesterday. I had volunteered, (old Army saying "Never volunteer" should come into play here. No seriously!) to help out in the department where my old ATA was and after only a 6.5 hour stint i realised that my new department is far less physical. It all comes down to the time spent on my knees or having to stand on a stool to do the job. The act of getting either up or down makes all the difference because the new ATA is completed just standing - - -

We have rats! I had noticed the other day in the greenhouse at the top of the garden where we keep our spare bird food a strange pile of fresh earth.
I thought it might be a mole but had not seen any before so i set up one of the cameras to watch where the earth was being dug up from.
The camera caught a cat outside the greenhouse at last light, not LM and then through the night this rat and one other have appeared at various times. I shall take steps to get rid of them after first removing the bird food ! - - -

The Metro carries this report of Snow on Ben Nevis and in Cumbtia. Cumbria just gets a dusting but in Scotland its looking more like a quite a fall.

This story in The Guardian is a "sign of the times" i think. Its about the Muslim Council of Britain setting up its own counter terror scheme within its walls of influence. Welcoming but too late by far - - -
