LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
http://www.netweather.tv precipitation display
the rain display this morning is dominated by the Atlantic blob coming at the UK.  The arrows might be a little exaggerated but it more a spray effect than one particular direction if that makes sense.  The forecast is indicating that the Easterly flow we have been experiencing should dominate later in the day so its anyones (local) guess if the rain will reach and affect us today.
It's just about a normal Autumnal Temp this morning, once again the breeze will make it feel cooler but i dont think its a constant velocity at the moment - - -

Its just after 7 now and the weathercam is picking up the light and showing the thick blanket of cloud that is forecast.  The wind has dropped off entirely now.

Local weather for today:
The Met O is predicting a cloudy day throughout but 0% probability of any rain. Yahoo weather looks for a 5% chance of rain this morning but then 0% for the raest of the day.  Top Temp will struggle to get to 10 or 11c - - -

We did more bathroom project buying yesterday with a raid on B & Q over at Chesterfield and then a stroll to the pub to get over it! lol .  The afternoon we had intended to get into the garden but didn't and i poked at the pc in my man cave in an attempt to stop it crashing or more to the point get it working properly.  I tried the standard Windows repair facility on the setup disc and i'm unsure how it went.  Yes it starts up but it must have been in a bit of a state because all the drivers have disappeared and the screen resolution is all up the kybosh.  I think i might just switch it off and leave it until the bathroom is complete! - - -

This photo fronts a BBC health story in todays news.  It revolves around a list of 40 ailments that you needn't go to the doctor with.  e.g. Small wrist fractures in children do not need casts and will heal just as quickly with a removable splint. Routine PSA tests for prostate cancer does not lead to longer life and can cause anxiety. - - - The list it is said will be added to every year.  I vote the NHS spends a couple of million sending out the list to every patient so that when ill/injured/etc you could check the list before bothering the doctor ! lol
