LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
The Netweather.TV display this morning doesnt have a lot on it but i reckon it will be when rather than if the rain reaches us locally. With the North Easterly flow the rain might build up in the North sea during the day and send us some showers.
quite cold out this morning and looking at the Uk wide Temperature distribution some areas did get a frost. The Bar Tendency is promising but i don't think even with any sun that its going to feel warm today - - -

weathercam update 08:05
The weathercam has a view of the mist clearing out of the valley and clouds moving by. We are still rain free at this time (08:05)
Local weather forecast today :
The Met O is predicting a misty start in the Peak District which will slowly clear until around 12:00 it will be replaced with a light shower day until sunset. Yahoo weather is looking at a breezy cloudy day with only a 5% probability of rain. Max Temp for both is around 10 -12c - - -

I have replaced one of my old weather widgets on our weather website with the Met O one above. It not only shows the stats it has a map link for temperature and rainfall radar. If you click the map it will take you to the Met O site to show the map in a full page form. - - -
The bathroom project gets underway
After the usual Friday shopping trip to Chesterfield we sat down and thrashed out the inventory for the new bathroom. I figured out the wall coverings etc and Sally picked the Shower, tap and waste for the sink. Spending all that money made me quite faint, lol! Its a ATA day for me today but on Sunday we will be making up another list of tools, flooring and other bits i need to start the job and then we will be good to go. The idea is to pick a period when i'm free for a number of days and get it done then.
Sunday 6th of Nov is looking a likely start date at the moment.
I should be able to do some preparation work beforehand but one of the first jobs in the project will be to get rid of the bath/shower which has its complications right away - - - watch this space - - -

There's a great article in The Guardian this morning about the top ex footballer and all around good guy Gary Lineker. Columnist Marina Hyde writes an impassioned piece in his defence over a tweet he put on Twitter about the Calais migrant coverage. "people" are baying for his blood apparently and he has been abused in the social media. Some are suggesting as a result of his comment he should be sacked from his job with the Beeb. How absolutely ridiculous. The whole thing is couched in one great quote from the columnist for me when she describes people's reaction as "toddler culture" where "If we scream about things we don't like a misguided grown up gives in and removes them from our presence" . She also suggests there has been "another saga frenzied twattery (sic) suggesting Lineker is unfit to present the premier league highlights - - - BrilliantI like her style! - - -
