LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
http://www.netweather.tv precipitation display
the Netweather.TV display says it all this morning. I listened to the BBC weather forecast yesterday and the current weather pattern is set to for change. The large blob over Eire is stronger than the Easterly flow we have been experiencing for a number of days and it will force the Easterly flow to sheer off over northern Scotland. As a result the prediction is that it night get a bit warmer but the propensity to rain will increase. - - -
This mornings stats
The local weather forecast today: The Met O is offering us a light showery morning until 12:00 then a 3 hour respite of sunny intervals before returning to a heavy shower period through to 21:00 . Metcheck has a similar story with offers of light showers and a longer period of sunshine in the afternoon before showers once more in the evening - - -

While out shopping yesterday i tried the Tesco instant photo machine. I wanted some good quality 6 x 4 prints and some "wallet sized" photos of my book cover to put up on notice boards and to hand out to people. It looks simple enough and i guess if you want a couple of photos from your iphone etc in print its a doddle.
After pressing various buttons i pressed the print button - - - nothing. The lady assistant came to help. In no time we were chatting about the book while she deftly printed off the photos. She even knocked off £10 from the printing bill as i handed her one of the larger prints - - - it pays to advertise ! - - -

Having bought a number of Daffodil bulbs on our weekly shopping trips, mainly from Aldi. it was decided that yesterday would be a good time to put them in.
after forking in a good bag of our own compost from the bin i dug a curved trench at the front of the little bed and Saly tipped in a bag of normal sized ones
similarly but with the miniature daffs the a rear trench was made. The idea of small ones at the rear is that we will be able to enjoy them from inside the house.
Having done that we clipped back the Lavender we took on the task of the wild hyacinth bulbs. Its almost impossible to rid the garden of them because of the numerous tiny bulbs that each plant makes as it grows itself. Two schools of though are prevalent tug em up and give them a dose of roundup then another then another. My idea is to go out with a bucket every few weeks and dig em up. Then in the early spring when they flower i shall start a roundup campaign

All through the winter we have a number of cushions in front of the fire for LM
he only used them last winter a couple of times so we were amazed when he gingerly settled down albeit a little tentatively
the other day. He didnt stay on them for long but its a start - - -

Today its a full day at the ATA my first for a long time it could be challenging. My main aim will be to get some direction from the dept manager who is in today about what exactly is required of me. - - -

The single figure Temp might be into double digits once this Westerly weather flow kicks in but then maybe i'm being too optimistic ! No rain yesterday and the forecasted cloudy aspect didn't really kick in until late afternoon. The local weather forecast today: The Met O is offering us a light showery morning until 12:00 then a 3 hour respite of sunny intervals before returning to a heavy shower period through to 21:00 . The Argentinians are rattling their sabres at the Brits rattling there's. Routine exercises in the Falklands have been labeled "illegitimate" by the Argies and they have demanded they be cancelled. At the foot of the story its interesting that we have been conducting talks with them in London where deals on oil, fishing and other trade deals were agreed
