The Temp at 04:15 managed a 1.8c and then a little fog moved up the valley ands we have the current 2.4.  The Bar tendency looks like its on a winner with its sunshine symbol today
====
update 07:00
The weathercam shows the fog that moved up the valley earlier and viz is down to 250m at present.  With the current 07:00 Temp having dropped a point at 2.3c from the record above i think the fog will be around for a while yet.
Todays Forecast: The weather forecasters agree that today will be fine sunny day with a Max Temp of between 14 -16c - - -

This Sky News story  shows a map and some effects of Hurricane Mathew on Jamaica and the Caribbean area .  It is threatening Haiti with 150mph winds before heading to Cuba and the US is already planning to evacuate 700 service families form its Guantanamo base

Yesterday was forecast to be sunny and it started off well as this shot shows.  I took it at around 08:30 from the top pergola

 the grasses in the front of the garden have lost their appeal so it was time to get rid.  They were soon in the bags and off to the recycle dump.  Our idea now is to keep the lavender and the "lone sentinel" and plant some laurels to make a low hedge with. .  The slate edged round bit will stay and a few pots will be put out the front with nasturtiums in to add a bit of colour .
 walking down to The church pub on our multi million £ cycle track we were confronted by this bloke on a penny farthing bike.  Hes from the local cycle club and I have seen and photographed him on the A6 a couple of times.
 down at the pub Fred Flintstones car was parked outside.  Seemingly a leftover from a birthday party the previous night !
 after a brief interlude we walked back up the railway and the view across to the nine ladies hill was very good.  The sunshine is just able to pick up the Autumn colours now
 the grass on the sheep meadows on the hillside is beginning to die back and the crop in the foreground field looks to be winter feed for the sheep.  We noticed earlier in the year when it was being ploughed that it was proving difficult because of the wet ground and a strip of grass is still evident from that time.
 great view and as we are walking into the wind its noticeable that there is a little cold edge to it
walking along the cycle path we spot this "police" Ford Anglia complete with fake policeman.  It looks to be part of a photo shoot using the train which is about to come along as a back drop .
We rounded off the afternoon watching a cycle race and the Malaysian Gran Prix.  I haven't watched one for ages and it confirmed my opinion that aren't the Grand Prix just plain tedious to watch nowadays?  - - -

A PEEK AT THE PAPER

The banners have a "strictly" story and a scare that to fight diabetes might ruin the NHS - - - no fight then?
The main story is the juicy bit this morning though with TM the PM saying Article 50 will be declared before the end of March 2017.  The PM made it clear that there will be no compromise on border controls - - -
The Bulgarian referendum on the EU migrant quotas dealt Brussels a body blow when apparently the voted 92% in favour of rejecting them why do the EU bosses not admit they got it wrong and do something about the mess! - - -
