LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
http://www.netweather.tv precipitation display
Once again this morning our weather is coming from the East.  In fact slightly more North East than yesterday so it might usher in a rather keen wind today
About an hour ago the Temp was just in double figures but as usual its dropping as dawn approaches.  Just a hint of a breeze at the moment. . Yesterdays 1.5mm of rain all fell in a heavy shower around 11:30 while we were absent in Chesterfield.
A great weathercam dawn view i think! just enough light for the camera to pick out the clouds which will be going away from us in effect I'll post another in a while when its lighter
update 08:40: The sun is reaching the other side of the valley now but its pretty low in the sky these days as demonstrated by the shadows up on the Nine Ladies hill.  There isn't as much cloud as i imagined but it might build up during the morning - - -

Todays local weather forecast:  The Met O hopes for light showers and hill fog retreating by midday and the afternoon being full of breezy sunny intervals.  Metcheck are mostly in agreement but suggest a little rain between 12 and 15:00.  A Max Temp of 12 to 14c is all we can expect, not bad for the time of year i suppose.

Yesterdays challenges were dealt with admirably and a successful outcome can already be reported.  I shall once again have "Alternative Task Activity" henceforth known as "ATA"  to keep me occupied a couple of days a week. As i put it to a friend "well someone has to help me pay for the bathroom upgrade!"

Having read the other day in one of the Express banner headlines that 3 cups of coffee a day are now "good for you" i liberated the espresso machine form the attic and pressed it into service - - - Mmmmmm.  I didn't follow up on the story and i shall not follow up on any that might tell me coffee is bad for me in the future ! - - - - - -

Today's challenges will be met with a a bit of a cavalier attitude as Sally is off visiting with her sister so i am left to my own devices! I might play around with my idea for night time surveillance for the rear of the property.  I bought one of these "new fangled" LED security flood lights yesterday.  I had never liked but often used the old long thin bulb type, they get far too hot in my opinion and at least the new LED ones are reported to be cold and only 10w instead of 150w and upwards of the old models.

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS
The Guardian shows the devastation left in Haiti by the Monster hurricane Matthew  it is suggested that deaths are at a total of 843 but that id not confirmed.
 The Express must be at a slack news day telling is something we are painfully aware of  and wondering when measures might be at least put in place to stop this rising tide
 In the Mail TM the PM's recent warning to the alleged tax dodgers gets front page status as the BBC "stars" are probed
Wayne looks like hes waning as well as his football career drifting away  from him.  He's a leading investor says The Times in an alleged tax avoidance scheme
