LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
http://www.netweather.tv precipitation display
The arrows i have added to the Netweather.TV display show the general movement of this pretty big blob of rain currently coming out of the Atllantic. It's still quite a way from our area but i reckon by 09:00 we will be getting some of its rain.
- -- -
Update 11:30 We have had a bit of heavy rain but its not raining at the moment. The heavy clouds are still rolling by and its looking like it might not be too wet an afternoon - - -
- -- -
Local Weather forecast: The prediction of it getting warmer when the South Western system comes to dominate the Eastern one has yet to happen with top Temps today not exceeding 14 - 15c. Without a doubt we can expect some rain and the Met O is predicting far more than Metcheck with heavy rain right through from now until 18:00 then light rain until 23:59. The rain however has yet to start. - - -

My first full day at my ATA was not as challenging as i thought it would be. I was assigned to a small team and the day progressed well with plenty to do. I managed my first spill! soup everywhere! but all in all a good day. I have in my enthusiasm secured some extra hours to pump up the bathroom project coffers which i will endeavour to kick into action in November
A number of times during the day i was approached about my book and managed to give away my photographs of the cover in an attempt to spread the word that its out there - - -

Arriving home after dark I logged into the birdfeeder camera to switch off the IR light and spotted the little mouse on one of its food forays. It was in the small tray that its standing on when i first spotted it but then went for bigger things trying out the sun flower seed feeder! - - -

The papers are full of the usual Sunday stuff although 2 articles about SAS blokes caught my eye. They have been writing books where they allegedly kill wounded enemy and are now being investigated, smacks of another witch hunt in progress methinks!
- -- -
This story complete with shop security video show a shopper accidently knocking over and supposedly causing £5000 worth of damage is quite amusing. It strikes me that the TV's, if they were that valuable should have been set up a little more securely but it is funny to watch - - -
