LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
http://www.netweather.tv precipitation display
I'm sure i have never seen the movement of two opposing weather systems that we have this morning on the rain display.  The one out of the Atlantic looks set to win!
It can be seen here in this display and its looking like we might be in for a bit of a weather change!
= = =
Its another chilly start to the day with just a bit of rain yesterday showing in the stats - - we need more!

Todays local weather forecast:  Metcheck are looking at sunny periods this morning but the chance of light rain after 15:00 this afternoon extending into the evening, The Met O has the same sunny period to start with but then a 60% chance of rain from 09:00 right through to 18:00 - - -

Time for a walk to the Nine Ladies yesterday and it was definitely chilly as i set off
Not a bad looking day as i look across the river at the start of the walk
some great cloud formations from the clouds up in the jet stream
the mist moving down the valley starts to appear

As i start to gain altitude the mist further down the valley is evident
almost getting to the point of being foggy now i have had to get into the fields at this point because the minor power lines would be in front of each shot

OK  OK enough of the misty shots !
These Alpaca dont seem too bothered asd i edge closer to get a good shot.  Breakfast is in the bag hanging form the tree branch
I took this one because the sun was was making crepuscular rays.  They were quite pronounced to the naked eye but only show up in the left of the seperated cloud here
Up on Nine Ladies at around 09:15 and I'm the only one there
walking back down through the old quarry i pass the old half finished millstones, remnants of a bygone age
A quick look back up to the Nine Ladies ridge before i descend back to the madding crowd!
still a great view across the river and meadows
this telephoto shot picks out the Autumn colours better
the river is still very low - - when are we going to get a week of rain to fill it back up?
= = =
back home and with the sun fully up now the colours are really showing off across the road from the top pergola in the garden.

Having more computers than you can shake a stick at
i spent some time yesterday installing my man cave PC! My idea is to utilise some of the many webcams i have with it but i'm sure there might be some other uses for it !

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS
The banners have a piece about the "Terrifying Clown Craze" that is said to be "sweeping the country" and the usual health bit, this time about high blood pressure being related to dementia - - -
A British driver ambushed  near the channel tunnel by Eritrean migrants hits 2 of them before making his escape into the ferry terminal.  One of the migrants hit dies later in hospital - - -
The Express really ratchets up the anti with this story of a lorry driver allegedly having a stick thrown at his lorry and it going through his windscreen.  OK pretty scary and maybe its showing what these refugees/asylum seekers/migrants are capable of.  But the photos show a car with its back window broken and one shot of a car with its windscreen cracked. (?)- - -

Mr T is in more trouble in this Guardian story with more of his high powered support heading for the exits! He insists he will not step down as some grass roots support makes itself heard.  Time alone will tell how much of a battering he will take before scuttling back into trump towers or even! moving to the white house for shelter!
 = = =
This Express story  is another example of how motorists are being held to ransom by the big supermarkets.  It relates that hundreds of oil tankers are "parked" full of oil because there is a glut of oil in the western world.  Motorists are still being ripped off at 112p a litre at the pumps though.  A theory i subscribe to is the run up to Christmas is always a good time for the supermarket giants to boost profits by screwing the motorists with high fuel prices - - - - - -
