LOCAL WEATHER TODAY
===========
=============
not much in the way of rain at the moment on the Netweather display
 Once again just getting to the mild side with the Temp which remained around 8 or 9c all night
Quite a grey old view on the weathercam and from the forecast its looking like we might not see too much sun today.  Rain is forecast throughout the day but not in any significant amounts.

 It was another nice day yesterday.  Realising It was going to be hot I set off early, first job load up Boris with some wood for the store
 odd bit of lighting on this shot but I'm moving all the branches left behind after we pulled all the trunk sections onto the bank the other day
 It took quite a time especially with all the older branches that had been left behind tangled up in the grass but after 3 hours i finally got to sawing the trunk section into rounds
Tadaaa!
 the area is clear now and its time to head for home
 the hawthorn flowers are just starting to open up here further down in the valley they are in full bloom
 this is the pile of wood i removed which will be made into firewood and stacked on the edge of this old burned patch
load 9 added to the store
===========================
a job i had been wanting to get on with was pruning down the laurels so we could see our view across to the other side of the valley

 Sally photographs the progress and gets the level right

 nearly done now
 and there we are juts about level with the top of our roof.
as i was flicking through the laurel photos i heard a familiar sound! these two C130s had just flown over Chatsworth and i hoped they would fly down our valley but they turned up towards Bakewell.  Great to see them though.
