LOCAL WEATHER TODAY

the Netweather display has the big blob moving away that gave us some overnight rain, that light stuff off the Welsh coast might give us a couple of showers later

 almost into double figures with the Temp, it did get down to 7.9 overnight.  quite a hefty 24hr rain figure at 12,4mm

just a hint of earlier mist still in the valley on the weathercam .  No real agreement between the forecasters today except that it might rain this afternoon

 I spotted just a bit of mist on the weathercam earlier and went up to the top of the garden to take a few shots

it has the look of Autumn rather than late Spring

the mist was moving quite quickly and the view changed in seconds

 Off to the West it started to lift out of the valley

and its all gone now to be replaced by the sunshine

We moved this mature lilac shrub last Autumn from the bottom of the garden to its present location.  The flowers on it make you think its enjoying where it is in the full sun

flicking through some of the overnight shots on the cameras i spotted this spider illuminated by the IR light.  Boris is in the background - - -
