LOCAL WEATHER TODAY
Another almost clear display from Netweather this morning.  That is all expected to change from Wednesday onwards apparently!
The overnight Min Temp was 3.5 but i spied a bit of frost on next doors roof earlier.  I don't think it will have damaged any of the young plants or blossom
a nice clear view from the weathercam this morning.  The Metcheck prediction for this week is fairly certain that from Wednesday onwards we are going to see warmer nightime Temps as the winds back to South West.  This will bring in weather systems from the Atlantic which will be breezy and wet.   This weather is set to last at least until this time next week

another shot across the Brexit bows for the Express.  Makes you wonder why all these migrant problems had not been foreseen and catered for ?

An Asda store in Kent is security tagging its baskets  after losing hundresds since the 5p plastic bag charge has been introduced.  - - - funny!

Once again yesterday the weather was cool to begin with but very pleasant once the sun had warmed things up
We ventured to the garden centre, always a nervous time for me.  Escaping with a bill a little less than £30 i counted myself lucky
I potted on my tomatoes and planted out some box and hawthorn plants that have been hanging around for years.
Sally refilled a container and planted out some recently purchased ground cover plants and then we just sat around in the sunshine for an hour or two

The Giro D'Italia  rolls on with a long time trial yesterday some of it conducted in the rain.  It was meant to be a big shake up day in the GC but it failed to materialise.  The rain seriously affected some of the best riders but the situation now is that the race is wide open.  Its a rest day today then 6 more days to go before the end of the race next Sunday - - -
