Big Christmas dinner for HM & confused weather forecasts here

The Express has a headline about HM's Christmas dinner for 31 at Sandringham , i wonder if they'll all help with the washing up - - - maybe not - - -

This is one of 3 villains  who did a sting operation on an old guy in St Peter's Hill branch of Nat West in Grantham a few days ago.  They managed to switch his card then took out 23k from his account.  The video is quite clear, i hope they get caught but i dont suppose there's much chance of the old guy getting his money back - - -

Using a phone when driving is  going to get more expensive, the fine will go up from £100 to £150, points on licences will also increase especially for HGV's - - - Its always been a problem hasn't it but it is surprising how many people you see using hand held phones.  I suppose its this "fixation" with being constantly in touch that makes people do it - - -

Here's what sounds like a good idea from Iran - - - Walls of Kindness it was an idea by someone in the city of Mashhad along with the slogan of "If you don't need it leave it" If you need it take it".  A few hooks on a painted piece of wall is all it takes to help people in need.  With the power of social media the practice spread to other cities in Iran - - what about doing that here? 

But wait, I cant help thinking about the blog entry i did recently where a couple of scroungers in Nuneaton exploited the local food bank by taking stuff then selling it to apparently buy drugs - - - maybe not here then - - -

the MET O take on the Peak District of which we are part is that it will mostly be a "heavy shower day"

Metcheck on the other hand have us bathing in sunshine with no rain at all?  OK weather forecasting is a bit of a black art but I would have thought their predictions for the day would be a little nearer together- - -

the weathercam is showing a clear Western sky but there is a large bank of cloud off to the South East
