This Sky News video shows the effects of the rain on a small mountain stream which is now a raging torrent
====================================
Locally it was a very windy day yesterday but we didn't have any rain although the sky looked threatening a number of times. Earlier this morning there was a little rain on the wind but not enough to even wet the pavements. Currently its a blustery cloudy morning and the forecast is for it to brighten a bit later and feel cooler than the present 12.5c
=================================
the current rain chart from http://www.xcweather.co.uk/GB/observations shows the rain coming inland from the coast
===========================
A very warm but blustery start this morning
the clouds are visible on the weathercam even now
08:00 clouded over completely and the blustery wind is driving the clouds along at a pace
Enjoy the day
