Fancy a stroll across the "Empty Quarter?" & Another busy day at the shop methinks

The Express has Killer Strom all over the front page which must have been a very early headline as i cant find anything about it on their website.  This doesn't detract however form their claim that "it" has claimed its first "victim" according to the text - - -
=========================
Sky News has a story about the "Cumbrian Floods Partnership"  a new Government backed Task Force which will examine what flood protection measures need to be introduced to minimise future damage and disruption - - - Mmmmmmm - - -

Mark Evans will not see much rain as he attempts to re-create the 1930's Trek across the Empty Quarter" The original walk of discovery was by Bertram Thomas - - -

======
The weather locally yesterday was cold and wet with the rain almost being non stop but it didn't deter the happy band of shoppers, many of whom seemed to be shopping already for Christmas.  Thankfully i had help from my boss, "lets call her Jenny" and we managed to keep the shelves at a decent level.
Today could be quite busy but starting at 8:00 2 full hours before the shop opens will make life a little easier.

Looking at my e mails earlier i deleted the usual batch of rubbish but hesitated on one which announced "Free E book - - Relaxation for Dummies" lol! - - - might just download that one! - - -
