Stop witch hunting our soldiers! & Pond level problems in the rain

 Even in the rain yesterday one of the local squirrels had a good go at the sunflower seeds 

 we took out almost all the pond plants some time ago now and the one Arum Lilly we left behind is growing already, if it ever does get cold no doubt it will wilt back a bit 

just before the prolonged period of rain yesterday I managed to chop down the zebra grass just to the right of the pond bridge.  Once it started to rain I had to adjust the mechanism for regulating the level of the pond, in adding the new box filter some time ago I must have disturbed the level regulator because it looked a bit high yesterday.  A few trips out in the pouring rain should have fixed it and I'll be able to see this morning if it needs more tampering with

 the Bar pressure yesterday was sinking like a stone once the rain got to us around 09:00 and finally stopped at 976.1mb later in the day currently 976.9

we don't have any rain falling at the moment and the spread of the incoming rain looks a little patchy so we might get away with just a little after yesterdays just over half an inch!

 quite cold again this morning and i think its going to be a bit of a wait and see about how much rain we might get, we have a good 24hr rainfall figure just now

the light is just coming up but there's little to see at the moment i'll update it in a while

the smoke from our chimney indicates the wind is coming from the SE at the moment which is in line with the weather chart above.  The hills have a little mist on them so its looking like it might be a bit of a dull damp day - - - I adjusted this camera yesterday because it was getting a little rain on it and it isnt a w/proof one! the right edge of it is looking just south of west.
