An Arctic blast is on its way & the book work is going well

Most papers cover George's first day at nursery school but Arctic Blast headline promises plunging temperatures and up to 2 feet of snow after the weekend.  Interesting banner headline about German cities link to a story   - - -

Following my rule that "Eventually everything you put in your mouth is bad for you" i just had to include this  from The Sun - - - Red wine is officially bad for you now, its the usual list of for and against "facts" - - -
============================
Rule number one if you are one of those who burgle peoples homes or buy "dodgy" electronic items down the pub.  "Wipe it clean before you use it" The Technically Challenged couple in the pic above used a "stolen" ipad to do a selfie, completely unaware of the (irritating but this time handy) app that uploads all photo's to an icloud account.  In this case the account belonged to the "former owner" police contact details are in this link if you know either person

This meant to be the iphone 7  which is ditching the standard headphone port in order to make it slimmer - - -  cant say i'll lose any sleep over that - - -

at last a sensible way to look at sugar content  labels on food with mg and g representation of how much sugar is in there is a little confusing to your average person here's an app which displays the content of the pack/tin etc as sugar lumps - - - scary results !

I had a great day working on the book yesterday and am within 64 pages of finishing my final proof read.  I have enlisted the help of an old friend to go through some of the book and am in contact with an agency which might want me to amend a few passages before i can consider publishing.
 I'm still considering using a cover similar to this pic but with maybe a few additions of cap badges etc.

the http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ rain map shows most of the UK having rain just now!
while the visibility and wind map shows a dire picture right now the forecasters are predicting we might see some sunshine this afternoon.  I liked the story from the Express about it getting snowy and cold after the weekend - - - we shall see - - -

Mr Squirrel gets a free breakfast - - again!
 cold again with a stiff breeze right now.  The rain in 24hrs figure of nearly half an inch looks impressive
the weathercam reflects the XC wearther picture right now with low cloud/mist up on the Nine Ladies side of the valley and its been raining on and off since i got up
