Tranquil in the garden this morning - - - & - - - TM the PM says the EU exit must be a success

LOCAL WEATHER TODAY

yesterday first
the real temperature yesterday was just about 30c but with the weather sensor almost in the sun and under the car port it got to 35.9 .  I must get that fan working on the sensor to make the Temp more realistic
the view on yesterdays weathercam looked prety good too

TODAY
The Netweather.TV rain display is completely clear of any sign of rain this morning

 15.4c for starters today
very misty on the weathercam right now but the forecasters are setting the scene for another fine day - - - The Met O gives us a fine sunny day until 21:00 when they predict a heavy shower night.  Metcheck give us a sunny day with a top Temp of 29c
Out in the garden early this morning
the Toms in the greenhouse are doing great.  They need daily attention and lots of watering
 but its paying off
the nasturtiums are beginning their show which will last until the first frosts, normally in October
this rose has been around a while and as usual with us its been moved a couple of times.  In the early years we had no blooms then for a couple of years just the one.  Now its doing fine!
the visibility is down to 100 metres with all the mist in the valley - - - special day

when we returned form our jolly the other day there was an open teabag on the kitchen floor.  LM had taken one of the "Pukka Night Time" tea bags and destroyed it.
It must smell like catmint because cats go bananas over that as well.  I caught him trying to get at the bags a few minutes ago
i put one on the floor and he started rolling over it!

Cyclists apart! litter has to be something that is like a red rag to a bull in my case.  Steeped in the rituals of never dropping litter I actually pick some of it up if i see it out striding the mountains.  I know its a perennial struggle by the local councils to impose the empty threat of fines to litter droppers but this attitude of "why should i care" is just foreign to me?

Interesting story about having more Russian spies on our shores now than in the cold war era
