Enjoy the day – Enjoy the weather

LOCAL WEATHER TODAY
The National rain view is fairly clear for today at present.  Locally i dont think we are going to be bothered with the small number of isolated showers about
Not a bad Temp although the leaden grey sky earlier made it feel cooler.  Just a slight breeze but the clouds are fairly scudding across the sky and look to being replaced by more broken cloud soon.  It finally rained early evening but the main downpour of the front moving across our area was to our North
The weathercam view is getting better by the minute with all that thick cloud looking like its being swept away to a more broken sky.  The forecast for today is for sunny periods and not a great risk of any significant rainfall

It was a half decent day yesterday, well of course it would be, after all i was working on the book! I popped out a couple of times and must admit the garden is looking great
this shot has Apples on the tree the Aliums in bloom, the mock orange and lupins making their presence felt and the Cotinus Royal Purple bush looks pretty good just now.
The Jackdaws have almost given up with the new feeders but they still come down for the stuff on the tray daily.  Its the Magpies that come mob handed sometimes now
we now have a white speckled headed female Blackbird visiting the feeders- - a curious colouring

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS

The banners have a story about Jackie Stewart's wife's dementia cure and theres a "new way" to fight back pain.  No doubt it will be superseded by another miracle cure soon
the main headline, shock horror" Mr Farage resigns.  Yetc another example of the style of the modern politician, fight a half decent campaign then walk away from the real fight   - - - hard work - - -
The main headline is looking like Ms May might be the next PM - - - the Chris Evans story Leaving Top Gear is hardly a surprise after the recent publicity.  He was just a tad irritating but we liked the new format of the show.  With his £millions and radio show etc i dont suppose he will be in the dole queue just yet.  Having said that the story also contains an allegation of  sexual assault from the 90's that could be here to haunt him - - -
