Enjoy the day – Enjoy the weather

LOCAL WEATHER TODAY
The Netweather.TV display has a blob of rain appearing from the Atlantic heading for the UK.  The animated view makes it look as if it might hit Wales to begin with
the 13.4c Temp feels cool at the moment, no doubt the cooler night was brought on by our localised thunderstorm yesterday
the weathercam view has some cloud on it but its all very high and thin.  Forecasters today: The Met O have us with sunny periods but a hint of a shower between 12:00 and 15:00.  Metcheck have a similar prediction but the light rain period is from 11:00 to 18:00

YESTERDAYS WEATHER

The day was fine and the Temp was in the high 20s as this huge plume of cloud appeared from the West.  The thunder had been rumbling in the distance and off to the North for a while when it let rip with a downpour with the odd bit of hail in it.  It lasted for about 20 minutes and then the sunshine returned.  The cooling effect of it was felt all night
I took this photo "mid downpour" with the thunderstorm heading off East and the sun already drying off the rain

This morning in the garden

i popped into the garden just before the thunderstorm yesterday and noticed our pond brolly pictured here looked as if it had "deflated"
it turned out that the nylon cord had snapped that holds it up had snapped ! - -
Spot the cat from down the terrace pays a visit and peeks through the open kitchen window
LM does not look too amused by it all

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS

the banners have a couple of "gems" Big Sam is the new England football boss - - - Big who?  and the best tip to stop Greadening Back Pain - - - has to be, Employ a Gardener
The main headline attempts to dispel the doom and gloom anti brexit tirades about disaster for the UK.  OK the papers can make it all up and generally do but the facts in the story look good.  TM the PM and Ms Merkel are pictured where the PM has a plain message that Brexit means Brexit - - - cool! - - -
I see Turkey has declared a state of emergency for 3 months - - - ideal credentials for EU membership - - -
