LOCAL WEATHER TODAY
the Netweather.Tv display has some impressive rain about to spoil the mini heatwave
with the lightening pattern switched on the forecast of thunderstorms looks to be correct.
Its been warm all night with Temps in the 20's even at midnight.  The current 18.8c Temp is feeling pretty cool right now
the weathercam view has clouded up in the last hour and we might even get some of the forecast rain later.  The Met O is leaning towards a showery period between 12:00 and 15:00 then sunny intervals.  Metcheck has rain from now until 15:00 with lightening a possibility.

LM goes bananas over the teabag!
then settles down in the shade
after a completely clear sky all morning and most of the afternoon yesterday a cloud appears
This video clip looks like the whole Magpie family have come along for a feed.  I put the old seed feeder back up the other day thinking the new feeders were too effective after not observing too many birds.  But i think its just with the hot weather there must be plenty food about for the birds.
this pigeon rather likes the old seed feeder

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS

The banners have an ice cream maker for £15 and a story i cant find about a father shooting his wife and daughter the Metro has it on its front page
the main headline has a call to reduce the net migration numbers to the Tory election promise  of 100,000 - - - The crowded beach photo warns of smog to come after the hottest day of the year
this photo is of a monsoon microburst in Phoenix  accompanies the Express story that we will have A months rain in 3 hours to end the current mini heatwave.  Thunderstorms were meant to be widespread in the UK last night but the current trend of cloud movement looks to be pushing them up the Irish sea rather than into the midlands and south.
