LOCAL WEATHER TODAY

Scotland appears to be taking the UK's rain ration today.  Locally we have a clear view from the rain perspective

Nice warm Temp to start the day and no breeze to speak of 

There's a fair amount of cloud around which follows the Metcheck version of today's forecast and they think there might be the odd shower.  The Met O on the other hand has us bathed in sunshine with no chance of any rain - - -

A pleasant looking day and time for the Round Robin walk 

 some cloud around but its looking promising 

 the Nine Ladies hill is bathed in sunshine 

 the pond is surprisingly clear considering there doesn't look to be a filter system installed 

 still no movement in the tree felling, maybe last years effort was it 

 a little more cloud as i descend back to river level 

 very tranquil as the river drifts slowly by 

 almost no sign left of the ransoms now by the footpath 

 the stream outfall shows how low the river is at the moment 

and the completed "Nanny Goats Crossing" gates are back in position next to our multi million £ cycle track

With all the sunshine in the afternoon it was time to hit the garden for a while 

 Our dahlia looks to be enjoying the warm weather 

 while the view down the garden and across to the other side of the valley is bathed in sunshine 

LM joins us and has a picnic lunch with him

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS 

The banners have a "familiar face" on the left and the killing of three Baton Rouge police on the other side.  When will the USA admit it has a firearms policy that is not working? 

 The front p[age has sights to gladden the heart on a Monday morning!  The weather is set to be more like a proper summer day and there's a, cunning plan to get us out of the EU quickly 

Other papers cover the Turkish problem with some considering a mass migration from Turkey into the EU - - -

Le Tour is going well for the Brits once again, Cavendish took the Saturday stage in the final bunch sprint and Pantano the Colombian rider scored a stage win for the doomed Swiss IAM cycling team yesterday.  Only one week of racing left before the final sprints up the Champs Elysee  next Sunday - - -
