Internet ordering just gets better! - - - &- - - Tour de France Flam Rouge Flop

Enjoy the day – Enjoy the weather

LOCAL WEATHER TODAY
Whats the old saying? "Hang on we could be in for a bumpy ride" is what springs to mind Looking at the current Netweather.TV display That huge blob is riding towards us at some speed and it could be an interesting day watching it
 Nice and warm at the moment and a breeze that it set to get stronger soon.  The Barometric Tendency is towards sunshine right now but i think that might change to rain shortly
The weathercam view shows a good layer of cloud but its dry just now.  The forecast is looking at quite a bit of rain and wind soon then a bit of a respite around midday followed by more rain early evening.  An interesting day for weather watchers - - -

Ordering online just gets easier doesn't it?  We decided on the spur of the moment to buy a replacement bed and mattress.  Scanning the internet we picked up on a firm who has obviously sussed out that "normal" beds and mattresses are a rip off and offer them at reasonable prices.  Ordering the items Thursday around mid morning they were delivered "Next Day" with no delivery charge.  Result great nights sleep!

No further problems with the ~PC after yesterdays strange episode
I worked on the book for a while yesterday but was distracted by the Wimbledon Tennis.  Watching Federer get beaten by Raonic, and Murray defeating Berdych we are all set for the final Sunday.  The ladies will be battling away today in their final at 15:00 with Serena Williams and Angelique Kerber fighting for glory

In "Le Tour" it was a bit of a tough day going into the real mountains of the Pyrenees for the first time.
Steve Cummings wins the stage in what is becoming his signature move.  Out in the breakaway sure of not being caught by the peloton he makes a solo bid 25km from the finish on the others and keeps the gap to the finish - Cumming is in the Dimension Data Team who now have won 4 of the 7 stages so far.
No-one really hurt when a touch of comedy came along with the Flam Rouge inflatable collapsing onto the road as the peloton approached.

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS

Not much in the banners this morning, a free toy and an ad for tomorrow's paper
Obviously a slack news day as the Express tells us that Statins Fight Cancer, the much paraded, hailed and at the same time vilified drug must be in favour - - - this week.  George looks cute in his ear defenders.  A story i read yesterday said he got them after throwing a tantrum at some do or other.
The Express does have this story about North Korea launching a missile from a submarine.  Apparently Kin Jong-Un declared war on the USA a few days ago, Mmmmm - - -
===========================================
The Mail banner has some free suntan lotion although at the moment i dont think it will be required in the UK
Same photo of George on the front of the Mail but then a more interesting spread in the main headline.  Its surely the supply and demand theory in blatant practice isn't it? The currency firms supplying holiday money are ripping off the tourists wanting foreign money with hiked up exchange rates, blaming it on brexit pound prices .  The holiday firms, keen eyed that people are scared to go to "real foreign" countries for their summer holidays are getting ripped off at hiked up prices to go to "friendly countries" - - - live with it - - -
