My first job yesterday was securing our tallboy bathroom cabinet to the wall and this went well as an eager Sally stood behind me arms full of stuff to go into it.  It'll be a couple of days of "where's the whatsits?" before i discover her logic on spiriting everything away in it
My idea to increase exposure of my book was to go down to Sainsbury's and stick my book postcards behind peoples windscreens.  at 12:00 i arrived to a buzzing car park and in about 40 minutes had got rid of about 180.
I had a very interesting chat to an Ex South African Army Para at one point.  Confronting the odd person either locking up or returning to their cars secured a variety of responses with only 2 refusals to accept the cards.  In a stilted, rather one sided conversation with a Mr Grumpy it wasn't until he had refused and walked away that I imagined he thought i wanted money from him for the book!!
After returning home we popped down to The Church pub which had an undertone of being a "bustling establishment" which was nice to see.  We had agreed to meet our good friends there whom we haven't seen in a number of weeks due to the bathroom project and one thing and another.  Returning home the Temp was falling so it was nice to sit in front of the fire and reflect on the day.

News?
The new or is it? move by Labour to block Brexit is so tedious to say the least.  When will these elected morons realise IT WAS THEY that gave US the vote to stay or leave.  We voted to leave so its their job to GET ON WITH IT! - - -
I like the worthy cause on the front of the Mail I do hope it succeeds !!
