Look for the old guy with the white T shirt and white baseball cap with the book cover on !  Any takers?

LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
 Quite a nice big splodge of rain on the Netweather display this morning.  It has the characteristic of going where its pointing, kind of North East at the moment
the 08:00 projection on the Met O display shows us in the very light rain band as it does for some time.  Its a case of suck it and see today methinks.

Its a mild start to Saturday with a light breeze.  A soggy cat through the open bedroom window at 01:00  makes me think that the the 1.00mm of rain must have fallen around that time.  Bit surprising at just the 1mm because it looked to be raining rather well around 20:30 last night.
just light enough now 07:30 to see the grey cloud cover is still with us.  Keep the brolly handy today because I reckon its a 50/50 chance it will rain!

Yesterday was meant to be a grey weather day and it certainly lived up to it.  Mid morning i was moving from the garden to the house and as i came down the steps to the back door the outside security light came on reflecting how little natural light there was.
A ray of sunshine in the morning was the arrival of the tallboy bathroom cabinet.
We had re-arranged a meeting with daughter No 1 the younger after having previously cancelled due to the freezing fog couple of days not long ago.  We met up at the Derwentwater Arms at Calver worth a visit if you are passing.  The 2 hours we spent there flashed past and on arriving back home we tackled the flat pack cabinet which now only needs fixing to the wall to make it usable.
Today I have a full shift at the ATA which as it is now only 2 weeks away from Christmas should be interesting to say the least

News?
 The banners have a free guide to the Christmas TV Tradition dictates that only a "Radio Times" will do in this house!
Obviously a slack news day as the Express tries to relay the Scandal of wasted foreign aid !  an interesting exercise would be to spend a couple of million £'s tracking down where every penny went for say, a month.  I imagine the results would be spectacularly enlightening!
