LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
At last some decent rain on the display and with the direction of movement the Yahoo weather prediction for 100% chance of precipitation looks spot on!
The Met O display has more of the very light rain edges to it than the netweather one and looks a little more impressive!
11.3c now that is quite warm for this time of morning! The rain stats show the 2.5mm of overnight rain.  It did start much later than the 18:00 predicted for yesterday.  The 1mm in the last hour isn't heavy but there's plenty time for it to increase before it starts to decrease as suggested in the Met O Peak District forecast below

weathercam photo update 07:45
It is still raining quite well and by the looks of things i might give the planned early morning stroll around the fields a miss today !

It was mild yesterday so time to take a stroll on my Round Robin walk first thing
The valley was still wreathed in mist to the South as i started
from the same spot the North Western view looked to be clearing a bit
Up at almost the highest point the mist is clearing by moving swiftly up the valley (left to right)
by the pond a similarly misty view across to Peak Tor.  From here normally you can a little of the  A6 with all the commuters buzzing off to work.  Today its just a distant muffled rumble in the mist below me

on the golf course i spot this mushroom all dried and with curled up edges
the view once again down into the valley wreathed in mist

descending now and the sun is breaking through the mist off to the South
half a fairy ring of mushrooms in the garden of the East Lodge as i pass
back down at river level and the confluence of the rivers Wye and Derwent always make it look so cold this time of year with the bare ground and leaf-less trees
the view across the river still looks great even on such a dull day
Once again the river level has fallen and this old guy and granddaughter plus dog are enjoying poking around on the exposed stream outfall
A last look across the river to the meadow and nine ladies hill before returning home for a welcome cuppa

With the bathroom work finished Sally's attention turned to "what do we put our bathroom stuff in" and she came up with a "tall boy" cabinet which will fit the gap between the shower and the false wall hiding all the pipes a treat.
A trip to the local supermarket netted a great loo roll holder the first one we have had in 20 years!  and 2 very nice and expensive bath mats.  I suppose after all the work to modernise the place its worth having the right bits in there.  I'm dreading the cost of the mirror!!
The rest of the day i was itching to "clear up all the" after project mess but was told to firmly take the day off, maybe today then!
THE BOOK!  It continues to receive some great reviews and another suggestion about a "proper book" and the fact the bathroom is all but finished galvanised me into action.  I tried lulu.com and hadn't realised how easy it is to get a book up and ready for printing   Using what is my working manuscript, admittedly in not quite the right format,  in 20 minutes i had a book on the screen in front of me that could be sold or printed for me to sell. My first thought is that i should have done it along side the present ebook and had it out for Christmas!  On reflection though there is still a fair bit off stuff that i have collected from contributors since publishing that i want to add to it so I'll get that in and then think again.
I must try blurb.com a similar online publishing company to see how they compare
In an effort to start afresh with the book and add the new material i spent a couple of hours going through all the stuff I have in what i call my working folder! Talk about duplication and stuff in the wrong pigeon hole before i sorted it!  I need now to go through a few hundred e mails i have had pre and post publication to make sure i have all the relevant stuff out of them to insert - - -
