LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
Not much on the display for the whole country but concentrating on our area a developing front is moving our way.  There's a chance it will slide past us unless it gets any larger as it approaches.

Local stats at 06:30
 Its a cool 4.8c this morning but no wind at the moment it doesn't feel too cold outside just now.  The Bar Tendency might just be a little on the optimistic side showing sunshine but you never know

weathercam update 07:30
With a clear sky dawn on the weathercam and the setting moon just visible near the top right of the shot its unlikley there will be any frost here but i imagine in some of the deeper valley's there will be a covering

Today's local weather forecast
The Met O  Has it misty to begin with which might persist on the hills.  It could be a drizzly morning but it will brighten later.  The Temp will be about 9c in the valleys but it will feel colder on the peaks where it will only struggle to 6c.
Yahoo Weather.  Has it cloudy all day with a high of only 6.7c and variable light winds

With just a hint of a weak winter sun i determined to empty the sludge out of the 3 pond filters yesterday and give the sponges one last clean this year.  Trying not to get rid of all the good bacteria I gently squeezed out the mud from the sponges and in an hour they were all back in their containers and doing their jobs.
Sally brought up a cup of Tea and i showed her a couple of daffodil bulbs that had poked their stems above ground already. This prompted a bit of a hunt
The quince has one flower open and a second next to it on its way !
This is most likely a daffodil in the top terrace but it could just be a bluebell - - -  surely not? Having wrapped all Sally's presents to go under the tree i moved the old desktop PC  from the man cave which has been replaced by an old netbook  remember those!?  I set up the old desktop with my recently acquired small monitor in my bedroom.  I must try to get it up and running properly.  It had wifi problems in the shed but being 3 feet from the router upstairs that shouldn't be an issue! - - -

News?
£2 off at poundland ? and a colouring set hit the banners
The main story is about a "scandal" that the Govt wont say how many migrants are trying to get into our country.  If they dont know how many have already arrived why should we be surprised that they cant/wont say how many are coming! - - -

A nice video of a pie in space flight from Sky News  ahead of the world pie eating contest !
