The large blob on the right of the display has been with us through the night and as the direction arrows show we are in for more rain today
Almost into double figures this morning with the Temp which is making it rather pleasant outside.  the 2.5mm of rain recorded overnight looks like it might be added to during the day.  - - -

Not a bad looking view out over the valley on the weathercam this morning.  The cloud is stopping us seeing this supermoon lauded in the media thats rising just now.

The bathroom project continued yesterday with some major frustrations, the largest being the fitting of the shower panels.  Before that we looked at the shower enclosure and discovered that the tolerances between the lower rail and the side support joints were so small that i shall have to modify them to have any chance of them going together.
Having  put on the roof panels easily, confidence was high that the shower panels would be a breeze, not so.  Annoyingly my lower corner of the shower studding was not completely vertical so some wrestling with that one set the scene.
With the second panel we followed the instructions,  a novel idea, but the large bead of silicone we added to the first panel stopped them joining correctly.  Further panels provided challenges but in the end we got to the shower bar area.  Panels on it then proved that the tap projections were too long.  I cut off the ends and reconnected the shower bar - - - now they were too short.  A compromise was agreed and we will doctor the tap covers to fit later.
On top of all that my brand new set square from Wickes was unknowingly falling apart and therefore not allowing us to have completely square ends on some panels.
After a long frustrating day we pronounced the work done and retired for a couple of glasses of well deserved wine.  Today we put the shower enclosure in place - - -

The Express has a full front page,  from Mr T promising to eject 3m illegal immigrants and the question being asked can we also do it.  One of the Express's health kicks tells us diabetes cases have shot up by 75% and a couple of contestants from IACGMOOH are going into the jungle.

A huge earthquake hits New Zealands South Island this morning with a fair number of aftershocks.  A british couple on honeymoon in kaikoura report that it will be 2 weeks before the roads open because of landslides ========================================================
