The display shows the huge weather front that looks as if it's rotating around our area at the moment. It has thinned out a bit from earlier though
the broader view has it over in europe as well so it might be around for a while
The medias has reports of Storm Angus features abounding this morning. We might have soggy cold weather till Tuesday at this rate - - -
Cold wet and breezy this morning. The 24hr rain figure has been produced overnight so Storm Angus is reaching our area but not as severe as "down south"
The weathercam looks decidedly soggy with the rain dripping off my "seaweed" .

Today's local weather forecast
The Met O forecast calls for rain until 12:00 then there will be a spell where the cloud will gradually decrease. Between 15:00 and dark the skies will clear and we might even see some sunshine. Top Temp 6c Top wind 45 mph. Yahoo looks at a rainy or cloudy day throughout with a top Temp of 5c and winds from 7 to 18 mph.

Our cats eating habits are very strange. We have had cats that would eat anything, most things, wriggling things and then there's LM!
If moves, hops, fly's or wriggles he'll chase it catch it and most likely eat it. Cat biscuits he will try most but likes only one particular brand. Wet/tinned/sachet cat food he "would" only eat one flavour of one particular brand and most times leave a fair bit of that in the bowl.
Once when we had him in the cattery the owner was about to call the vet because he hadn't eaten wet food for days. Wrong brand wrong flavour.
Shopping now and then we would get the odd sachet etc and serve it next day only to get, "that look" which says "you feed me bat droppings?, i no eat!"
Shopping a couple of weeks ago the shop only had 4 of his favourite wet food. I forgot to pick up some more when we ran out and Sally, picking up some milk from the "open all hours" also picked up a "Gourmet Purina Perle meat sachet" just so we would have something to serve his lordship the following morning.
Duly served, i "stepped back in amazement" as he proceeded to eat all of it in one go!
There's been no looking back since and he will now gladly eat any of the flavours in one of those Gourmet multi pack things! The brand is the same as his favourite biscuits he has three types in three separate bowls (!) so maybe there's something there? - - - such a character - - - He still does the midnight mouse feast though so no change there!

The Usual Sunday stories in the Express this morning claiming that snoops were even looking into the sec lives of people oppsoing the HS2 project - - - get oughta here! Mmmmmm! Obviously a slack news day - - -
