Once again the rain on the display is headed right for us. Running the animation the front part of the mass is fading but its only a matter of time before whats left of it reaches us.
Its pretty cool out this morning as the 5.9c reflects. The breeze is coming from the NNW and that's helping to make it feel even colder.
Great view on the weathercam, talk about heavy looking clouds! On the live view my "seaweed" is dancing in the wind

Todays local weather forecast
The Met O only has a max Temp of 8c and the approaching rain is forecast to stop at 09:00. There is mention of snow on higher ground! The wind will strengthen during the day but sunny intervals should be around after the early rain.
Yahoo weather only has a max Temp of 6 for the day and concentrates on the wind strengthening throughout. the %age rain figure with Yahoo is at zero for the day.

After the usual shopping raid yesterday across to Chesterfield and a stop on the return at B&Q and Screwfix we look all set to "get on with it" tomorrow. I did a little organising of tools and bits and bobs so that things will be to hand rather than rummaging through what has become a rather a large pile of project stuff in the back bedroom.
The garden needed some attention after the couple of harsh frosty mornings
the nasturtiums are always the first to go once the frost hits
this bottom terrace bed is having a number of daffodil bulbs added and it needed to be cleared. I first started bagging the remains but in the end after compost binning a few i put them all into an old shower curtain ready for the recycle centre run.
all set for the bulbs once the sweet pea frame is removed.

The big news of yesterday was from reviews reviews posted about my book There are 5 reviews all rated at 5 stars. Sales are now at 38 so lets hope as the word spreads the numbers continue to rise. - - -

Today is a full day of ATA and its going to be busy with halloween out the way and only a small display of fireworks it will be full steam ahead with all the Christmas goodies from now on - - -

The front of the Express has an interesting development after the 3 judges decision that MP's should vote on Brexit. TM the PM is indicating there will be no delay on her plans to get us out of the EU mess. Surely a test of her strength and resolve! go go TM! - - -
