LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
There is rain on the display and it is coming right us.  Running the past animation it almost gets to us and then fades away
running the Met O forwards  animation its looking like it will overcome its reluctance and be with us by 08:00
13.6c ! it was only last week the media was trying to warn us of the ice age starting this week.  It must be a little unusual though
the weathercam view right now has a breezy cloudy look about it and i fancy it will remain so today

Today's local weather forecast
The local Met O forecast has light rain for us until 12:00 then a cloudy and sometimes sunny afternoon without the rain until we get a partly cloudy night.  Top Temp today will be 14c and winds at 20 - 25mph
Yahoo weather sees a top Temp of 13.8c and winds variable at 7 to 14mph accompanying a cloudy day with a 65% chance of rain

At last a shower
Yesterday on the project we tackled the shower - - - after discovering that the closure end panels would not go into the top and bottom rails the other day i had resolved that issue by doctoring the front face of one half of the joints.
Putting it together in such a confined space wasnt easy but after some j - -j - - jiggling we manged it and from then on it was plain sailing - - - well almost.  We had noticed the shower head didn't look right when it was assembled it was far too loose flopping around on a little ball joint that obviously was meant to allow you to have the head in slightly different positions.  I phoned the manufacturers and described what we had and was told "well that sounds OK" - - -b******t holding a bucket underneath the head, we still had some wet silicone about, we switched it on and the water came out the top of the head and hit the roof.
Phoning this time the suppliers and going through the usual irritating options i finished up 14th in a queue - - - No thanks! - - - we fired off an e mail with pictures and expect an answer about christmas.
The hand set bit of the shower also had a washer missing but some swapping around of other washers meant we finally had a working shower
Tadaaaaaaa! Letting the silicone go off we indulged ourselves in the evening luxuriating in the warm water.  First shower for a week and a day, it's OK when you imagine having no shower for a week but in reality after the second day the novelty has definitely worn off !
While Sally prepared dinner i realised that the shower head could be botched, having zero confidence that the supplier, victorianplumbing.com would come to our rescue.  I assembled the bits and then filled in the void where obviously a huge rubber washer should be with silicone and then the whole unit sat on the hearth by the log burner in an attempt to help it go off.  It will be tested shortly.
I'm, going to have a few days off from the project now we have all 3 new facilities in place.  Cant wait to stride the hills!
Its Sally's birthday today - - - what more could a girl want than - - a shower - - - Happy Birthday

The Express banners have Mr F as the only bloke to talk to Mr T over the pond - - Mmmmm and a list of the 10 best veg that are good for you - - -
The main story once again is Brexit and it has emerged that the Labour leadership is falling into line with what the people voted for - - - a rarity for any politician!  Ant & Dec look like its a good pay day for them smiling out from their jungle lair on IACGMOOH having landed some TV super deal  - nice money if you can get it - - -
I thought this front page of the London Evening Standard looked cool, having picked it out of  the paperboy front page line up i scan every morning.  On going to their webpage it isnt there and the spirit of christmas is not in London it appears - - -
