LOCAL WEATHER NOW AND FORECAST FOR TODAY
==============================
http://www.netweather.tv precipitation display
the local radar display and direction of movement make it look like we are spared the rain for a while
the wider view shows the rain cant be far away!
Almost a mild Temp this morning but its cold and damp in the breeze just now.  I'm surprised at only 1.5mm being registered as the 24 hour rainfall.  The few times i went out while working on the bathroom yesterday it was always raining.

Update 07:15 The weathercam has a cold wet looking aspect to it this morning.  Its raining right now and the breeze is just evident on the "seaweed"
Update 14:10 We have had a number of downpours and the present view on the weathercam shows another about to sweep over us - - -

Todays local forecast
The Met O forecast for the Peak District has heavy showers until 09:00 then light showers for the rest of the day. The top Temp will be around 5c but the emphasis is on the Winds today 40mph gusting to 60 at times but moderating later.
Yahoo weather is mostly cloudy with an 80% chance of rain and a top Temp of  7.2c.  They dont see the high winds of the Met O,  only reporting 7 to 16mph .

It was another day on the bathroom project and some gains were made although as usual some frustrations as well.  I hate coving with a passion and have a history of never quite "getting the practical side" of cutting the internal and external corners.  The theory is very simple, the practical, for me a nightmare.  No instructions came with the coving but i had downloaded a diagram of how to cut which corner.
The only trouble was having the coving in the right orientation in the mitre box.  After a number grumblings, some help from Sally and some small bits with "Int L and Ext R written on them we cracked it.  Having it up on the wall we discovered its a bit tight getting the panels to slide in there when the coving is on the plasterboard walls.  The reason is the screws holding the coving up there stick out to far not using rawplugs but we reckon to be able to stick it to the wall as we go.  All in all another successful day  on the project
