Queen backs brexit - well almost & Work work work - - its all i know!

The Express has a good point in its headline about an EU exit strategy, do we have one? although if the Brexit campain is successful i wonder how long it would be before we were free of the EU
There's a great headline in the Sun this morning but its more a case of why let the truth spoil a good story methinks

its hard to believe this is true  Germany banning pork in schools and canteens so it doesn't upset migrants!!!! Its nice to know though that they also have the politically correct numpties that we have.  Take a look at a slide show at the bottom of the story showing 17 most dangerous foods !  - - -

I have never been one for just sitting around and yesterday proved the point, i had chanced across an ex working colleague as i walked across a shop car park and we chewed the fat about retirement.  I have been asked a number of times "how is it then" and my standard reply nowadays is " a bit over rated".
Don't get me wrong, not having to work is fine and i always have lots to do "but"! Driving home i mused that in the afternoon i would try and just sit around and do nothing.
It worked for about 2 and a bit hours and i then had to "set to" and do some research on a future project.  Ah well i guess i am destined to work work work - - - now where's that list of wet weather things to do! - - -

WEATHER TODAY
  the current http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ rain display makes it appear that almost everywhere is getting some rain right now.
while the  Netweather radar display shows Scotland appears to be almost clear of the big splodge affecting most of England and Wales
================================================

 its been raining for quite a bit of the night especially since midnight.  The rain figures will no doubt rise because the precipitation is forecast to last well into the afternoon
a suitably soggy looking weathercam pic bears testament to the figures above
