Pensions relief raid Alert! & wet and windy today

the migrant "issues" are given a day off by the Express front page this morning.  The Chancellor is planning to raid pension contributions tax relief by introducing a flat rate of relief.  Exactly what it will be is still under the covers! - - -

this rather pensive looking PM pic is fronting a Brexit shock poll story inside the Express
coupled with this map where the pink and red are for a Brexit its not looking good for the PM's idea of staying in the EU
There's an instant poll on the story where you can vote to leave or stay! the leave vote is at 88% - - -

"You should always back up your data" is normally only something you hear when you have failed to do it and lost the lot through virus attack or giving you laptop a cup of coffee (Sharon!)/
i picked up on this skyhub cloud storage solution from the well respected Makeuseof e mails i get regularly.  OK you can run back up to external hard drives but there's nothing like having it "off site".  This 2TB offer at $49.99 for life seems too good to miss = = =

With the frosty crisp start to yesterday i determined i would walk my "Round Robin" stroll of about 3 miles
with the Temp around minus 2 it was wrap up warm morning as the frost on the fields and surrounding hills show
the pond has ice some on it and the view NW up towards Bakewell has a little mist on it
the felling of the trees is taking some time up in the forest and it still looks like they are being selective but for what i'm not sure
great view across the frosty grass of the golf course and once again up towards Bakewell still no sign of the sun affecting the frost yet
the work on the cycle path is really moving now as its scythes its way through the scattered trees
as i took this pic the bloke in the orange hi vis came across to talk to me.  I enthused about the path in an attempt to get information but all he said was they were ahead of schedule and it might be finished by April.  As to how much it was costing he said nothing.  The end of the new fence in the pic cuts in half the bit that a resident had been encroaching on i wonder if he will re-occupy the bit to the left of the fence once they are done with the path
I'm going to try and follow the growth of the Ransoms (wild garlic) in this shot and will try and take the same view to add to the blog regularly.  They dont seem to have grown much in the last 2 weeks but i guess the cold weather has slowed them considerably
with the stones on show in the river at this outfall of a stream its obvious that the rain has not been evident too much in the last 2 weeks
a last look across the river before scurrying back home for a hot sup of tea

WEATHER NOW 07:15
yesterday's forecast rain starting at 18:00 was just about on the money and with high winds it managed to rain for a considerable time last night
the weathercam has a gloomy pic this morning and the rain is still coming down quite well.
The forecast for today is a bit of a washout with rain and high winds most of the time.  There's only a possibility of a brief respite from the rain between 11:00 and 16:00
The current netweather rain radar pic shows the rain - - - bring it on!
