On our recent trip to Australia we had 2 weeks in Sydney as our base and invariably ended up having a drink or two in the famous Cargo Bar but the NSW lockout laws have finally made the owners sell up and move it to Canberra. Its a great spot alongside Darling Harbour and no doubt will make a huge pile of dollars for the owners.

The trip to and from No 1 daughter (the elder) the day before took its toll yesterday morning as i did some logging and felt it a bit of effort!! at least it was nice and sunny towards the end of my stint
I had dinner out with Daughter No 1 (the younger) last night at the Bella Donna at Renishaw definitely worth a visit. I gave her a copy of my book and am hoping for a good review!

the Temp was around zero not long ago but its rising quite well now just a little breeze about to cool things off
a grey outlook on the weathercam but i think this is mainly to do with the early morning mist which appears to be clearing. The rain radar is clear and the general forecast indicates we will have some sunshine this morning before cloud moves in this afternoon
