The last of the log dragging - - - & - - - Did you know about these plastic beads in loads of everyday products?

Enjoy the day – Enjoy the weather

the rather large blob of rain has been bothering us since 02:30 but its wandering off into the North Sea just now.
A mid teen Temp to start the day and the humidity will remain high until the sun manages to burn off all the rain.  4.6mm since 02:30 last night is quite a shower - - -
The weathercam has a cloudy view across the valley but it should brighten up a little soon .  Forecasters at Metcheck are indicating we might have cloud all day, while the Met O are looking at the possibility of a light shower throughout the day and even a thunderstorm after 18:00

Global warming?  part of the larsen ice shelf looks like it might break off soon - - - its quoted as being "slightly smaller than Scotland"

Another fine day yesterday meant  we could pop down to the logging area and drag out the rest of the trees from my latest felling
first though we fill up some bags of firewood that Sally has promised to a neighbour
this was the scene we left the other day the ones in view shouldnt be too much of a problem.  One Hawthorn hidden by all the others might have to be dragged out from the track at the bottom of this shot by the electricity pole
tadaaa! there are some dead bits in the undergrowth that i might have to move sometime but we're done for today
Sally packs up the drag ropes as i collect all the other bits and bobs together
back home and sitting in the garden I contemplate watering the Tomatoes while we are on sojourn soon.  I could just consign them to the compost heap but they are doing so well i decided to invent an auto watering system.  The hose pipe is drilled with holes at strategic points and over the next few days i will try and get the flow right .

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS

The banner is covering the devastating Italian earthquake the death to9ll is reported to be 159 at present
A couple of days of fine weather in the South East spell SMOG for some in the main headline - - -

Here's something thats passed me by   In the Mail.  Tiny plastic beads are in all kinds of products and look like becoming a danger to the public health if left unchecked.  Calls are being made to ban their inclusion in products by the UK without EU permission - - -  and why not ! - - -
