There's a low pressure area directly over Ireland at the moment with the rain front radiating out from it.  Its moving Eastwards at a fair rate of knots so i expect today might be a wet and windy one

 well into the teens with the Temp at the moment.  The 10.3mm of rain in the last 24hrs tells its own tale about yesterday and from the Netweather display above its going to be added to today

the weathercam has a grey wet look about it and its probably going to stay that way for much of the day.  Forecasters are predicting heavy rain for much of today - - -

 we have never seen juvenile magpies on the feeders but yesterday we picked up on this little scene.  With mum standing guard the rather soggy looking chicks are learning where the free food comes from!
