Strange clouds precede the rain yesterday - - - & - - - A reduction on foreign aid

Enjoy the day – Enjoy the weather

http://www.netweather.tv precipitation display
The rain display is a little like yesterdays with the area around us clear while others are feeling the full force of it.  The stuff appearing over South Wales could be with us later.
the Temp is a mid teens one already but only set to rise another 5 or 6c today
another misty low cloud sort of view on the weathercam this morning indicates its going to be one of those days where it is slow to clear methinks.  Forecasters at Metcheck are indicating lots of cloud today and rain anytime from now until 18:00.  The Met O has a similar story.  Tomorrow although cooler is set to be sunny

With Saturdays weather forecast of rain after 12:00 ringing in my ears i decided to do a couple of hours logging before it arrived
the pile is looking good at the moment but the wall at this end needs to go a little higher so that was the job for today
as i started the task the humidity was high and a steady intake of water was needed
in a matter of minutes the humidity dropped and i noticed a distinct line in the cloud formation heading my way
it was as if there was a division in the cloud and one end of it was rolling on top of the rest of it
having already built up the end wall i made a decision to
pack up early as the line arrived above me
a really impressive formation as it passed overhead
sure enough by the time i had begun to cover the pile the rain started and soaked me by the time i got back to the van.
It was 11:00 when it began to rain and during the afternoon we had some quite heavy downpours - - - after all it is a Bank Holiday, what can you expect !

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS

The sunday banner has a chunkie cookie (!?) for free and a plug for the papers £1000 puzzle
The main story leaves me perplexed the paper ramps up a story about people drowning on our coasts.  They blame the cuts in lifeguards and other rescue services.  It has to be said there cant be too many emergency services but responsibility has to be apportioned to the actions of some of the victims for their own ignorance at best and disregard for their own safety - - -
The Mail on Sunday declares a victory on reducing foreign aid
