the Low pressure area which controlled the rain yesterday has moved out into the North Sea but should continue to bring in the rain today
mid teens with the Temp today and almost as much rain in the last 24hrs as the previous period
The weathercam has a distinct grey look about it and the night had 3 bands of rain at 23:00 - 03:00 and 05:30 to douse the area. Today looks like being a repeat of yesterday with any number of showers. There might be a period around lunchtime when the sun might make an appearance between the clouds but its something i would bet on - - - Monday and Tuesday have a chance of a clear spell or two according to current predictions.
=============================
Yesterday weather was quite wet
and the old adage of "Red sky in the morning" held true because soon after this photo it rained most of the day except for a few very brief bits of sunshine around 11:30
with LM fast asleep avoiding the rain his rival for the territory the very handsome grey and white tabby took shelter and sat on top of Cyril
in between showers i did the walk again up the Mutli Million £ cycle track and back down the river
this counting device with solar panel on top of it has been installed in the last few days
You cant dispute that the path leads through some previously difficult to get to jungle and is pleasant to walk through now. As i reached into my pocket to get my camera out for this shot a young Buzzard flew along the track up in the trees and away into the hills
I wondered how the elevated deck would fair in the wet and its not slippy at all
arriving at the turning point to come back down the river i noticed how many leaves had come off the trees onto the trackway
back along the river and the sky has the look of impending rain
by the time i get almost to the end of the walk the odd drop is coming down
even with all the rain the river has yet to come back to anything like its normal level. I scoot past my usual last picture spot as the rain starts with a vengeance and dash home.
