almost a clear view on the rain radar but there is a blob just appearing from the Atlantic, its looking like it might be headed for Scotland at the moment
pretty cool to start off the day but its bound to warm up later
only some thin wispy stuff spoiling a clear view sky this morning on the weathercam.  Forecasters agree on the prediction today it will be sunny with just as little cloud Max Temps should be around 22c
07:25 just out in the garden when this fog rolled down the valley

The morning roundup of weathercams i look up are interesting
in Finland its warmer than it is here - - just
The Orkney cam at Stromness looks to be taking some rain
but the Lake District cam from Keswick looking up towards Derwentwater looks like it will be a great day for walking

I decided to try walking up the multi million £ cycle track to the old station yard then back down the river path
this old train looked ot have been delivered to Peak Rail, or i guess it could have been sold and waiting to be picked up
1912 it says on the name plate!
so here we are at the start with the path alongside the entrance road to Peak Rail
you soon get to the tree lines track and i have to admit it is rather pleasant to walk between the avenue of trees.  An ignorant dog walker had left its pooches dog dump on the rtack but hey ho
this is the bit where the track becomes elevated above a boggy area, it was drying out quite quickly but a few days of rain will fill it up again
it reminded me of walking a track through jungle in the Blue Mountains near Sydney which we visited in Feb this year
Real Jungly a little further on.  When they cut down the minimum of trees to push the track through the wood has just been stacked by the side as can be seen in this photo - - - shame it would make good firewood!
at the other end of the raised section i can just see the building in the old station yard where i will turn around
coming back now on the river path
i always take this shot at this point which is right at the foot of a huge pine tree
 here it is
it towers up into the sky.
A little further on and once again looking across the river, some of the longer grass in the meadows is already shutting down for autumn
no sign again of the earlier luxurious growth of the Ransoms
the stream outfall looks to be at its maximum now - - - we need some rain
and finally around 35 minutes from the start a last look across the river made rather unpleasant by a human dump at the bottom of the steps!  Poop apart i might make this a regular walk when i just want a breath of fresh air

A PEEK AT THE PAPER
The death of former footballer Dalian Atkinson hits the banners along with the Express's warning to prepare for an 82c two day heatwave
The rather muddled state of our assylum seeker programme is laid bare in the main headline,  here's hoping it can be sorted at the same time as our Brexit problems.  And there's another Gold for Britain in the Olympics
