The  Netweather.TV display shows quite a large blob of rain dampening down the Manchester and beyond area just now and there are quite a line of blobs extending down through Wales heading our way
a more localised view is indicating we might see a bit of rain very soon.  Its the final day of this years Bakewell show here's hoping the rain holds off from giving the area too much of a soaking.
======================
 Another mid teens Temp to start the day and a fresh wind blowing already
The sky has been alternating cloudy and clear on the weathercam view for the last hour, maybe that's what we are in for today. Met O are saying today will be cloudy with a period of heavy showers from 15:00 to 18:00.  Metcheck follow a similar trend but have the rainy period starting at 11:00

A PEEK AT THE PAPER

The banner tells us the paper is only 10p and that the police are "ready to protect us"
 The main headline focuses on the fact that the wonder drug of yesterday could give you diabetes and the happy faces of the girls that won the Euromillions £61m  beam out at us - - -
Mr C's honours list descends into even more of a farce as the paper claims "no one wants" them
