Another nice day on the cards with almost no rain blobs showing on the display right now
 A nice warm Temp to start what looks like being a fine day
the weathercam looks like it needs a bit of an adjustment, i must have moved it dragging out the Apricot tree yesterday.  The sun is already well down at the bottom of the valley.  The forecasts are looking at a sunny day with a top Temp of 21c, the only warning is that it might get rather windy.  Metcheck is hinting once again that there could be a light shower ot two this afternoon, it seems that thats their default setting for p.m. - - -

Pesky Magpies
 The battle with the Magpies continues and they even managed to cut one of the wires on the peanut cage to get at the nuts
I tried putting Henry the plastic heron there to see if that would keep them away
No Joy! and this one even gives a wings up to the camera
Down in the greenhouse the pepper plants are at last yielding some bounty
=================================
It was time to move stuff around in the garden and it was the dwarf conifers that we have our eye on .  The main reason for the move however was to also take out the Apricot from the top greenhouse.  After 2 years with blossom and then no fruit we decided it should go in the. garden.  It also has prolific growth even though it was tagged as a miniature when we bought it.  In have had to clip it back twice already this year
The conifers are going out the front but we dont want to take out the lavender.  The first job then was to clip that back a little
 we took three from out of the bed in the foreground and then a further 4, 2 very small ones on the end in this shot
trying to decide where the Apricot should go
it was time then to dig the hole for the Apricot which can be seen in the greenhouse looking on quizzically i assume

 so there we are all done
 within 10 minutes it goes into shock and all the leaves droop - - - it should recover - - - hopefully
 sitting there congratulating ourselves on the days efforts we hear a familiar noise coming from the North as the RAF Memorial flight Lancaster flies down the valley.  The sun is obscured by this cloud just at the right time for the shot - - -

Its the Peak Rail 1940's weekend today and tomorrow
so no doubt we will be regaled with Glenn Miller music and the odd battle over the next two days
