with one low pressure system having left us, the next, still way out in the Atlantic is already on its way and affecting todays weather with some rain and wind . At present its set to sit out there and affect the weather for most of the week
The Temp is well up this morning and the breeze is already alternating between a whisper and a growl.  The Bar. Tendency is showing sunshine but i think this is just because the pressure has risen not long ago.  I wouldnt take it as a time to break out the suntan cream but you never know
the weathercam has a grey cloudy covering and the wind is evident in the angle of the "seaweed" .  The Met O has a windy/rain/drizzle/cloudy prediction until 18:00 when they reckon we will finish off with some sunshine.  Metcheck follows suit but doesn't think we will see the sun after 18:00 because of the cloud cover - - - I think it might be similar to the last couple of days with breaks in the cloud this afternoon but always be ready for a shower - - -

Even with the weather rainy yesterday Sally decided to try out the walk up the Multi million £ cycle path then back down the river, i joined her for the jaunt
starting off in a dry spell it was only a matter of 400 metres into it when it began raining
undaunted we walked on sheltered at times from the rain under the trees
as we neared the end of the river part of the walk the rain had almost stopped
the outfall stones from the stream are still showing and we put it down to the fact that most of the rain that has fallen has just soaked into the ground rather than running off.  Sally's impression of the walk  - - -pretty good

A PEEK AT THE PAPERS

The banners have the deaths of 6 people around our coastline yesterday as storms batter the UK - - - all avoidable - - - Now the Olympics is over no doubt the latest Alzheimer's cure will get back onto the front page
the main story is the outstanding success of our Olympic team as well as another Brexit "conditioning" statement
the Mail turns its front page over to celebrating the British Team at the Olympics - - - aren't you secretly glad its all over though? - - -

There is a degree of confusion in this story  but the RSPCA have scored an own goal - - - once again.  The cat in the photo was microchipped but when it wandered and finished up in the hands of the RSPCA  they re-homed it.  The owners are furious because the RSPCA cited "data protection" for not giving the cats location and offered "counselling" to the couple on "dealing with grief" - - -
