There's nothing as "unpredictable as English weather" but i like this projection of the remnants of Hurricane Joaquin as it veers away from the US coast and heads our way. The Met O are of a more philosophical bent in regards to Joaquin pointing out by the time it reaches us mid or late this week it will be indistinguishable from our "normal" wet and windy October weather. could be shades of that famous quote by Michael Fish in 1987 "Hurricane on the way, well dont worry there isnt!" We are due to have a wet and windy patch from tonight anyway so maybe the Met O will be proved right

the Temp is a very cool 4.9c just now with a low of 2.8c at 3 a.m. if there wasn't so much cloud around we might have had a frost this morning
the weathercam shows very little in the way of mist/fog this morning indicating i imagine that we might see a bit of a change in the current weather quite soon. Indications for today are that we shall have some sunny periods - - -
