I had a mission yesterday to pick up my manuscript from a literary agent who volunteered to give my book the once over. The trip down was in nightmare traffic and i only just made the meeting in time. I now have the manuscript back with a number of errors to go through. I also met a bloke who i haven't seen for nearly 40 years but as usual within 2 minutes we were swapping old tales like i had seen him just yesterday. After a brief lunch with old friends who were celebrating their 42nd Wedding Anniversary!!, and sufficiently "provisioned" by them i shot back up the motorways, thankfully without queues or incident.
