Teton Gravity Experiment! & a Penny Bun to die for!

This interactive chart is from xcweather and has an umber of overlays which can be displayed.  The wind projection for the next few days look interesting
================================

you can just spot 3 figures on the lip of this snowy mountainside.  One is a "professional" skier who attempts to ski down it and fails badly - - unhurt at the bottom, but please note the overprint on the top right of the pic "Teton Gravity Research" !!! - - - video
================================================
this is a Japanese bloke who has set a world record for "all fours running"  Whaaat! - - - he should get out more - - - video

Twas nice and blustery yesterday but not raining so before lunch yesterday we decided to walk Stanton moor
 quite a lead grey sky as Sally strides out

 the ferns have all shut down and will be flattened by the snow soon
 still some Autumn colour about but the high winds of the last few days have been stripping most trees
 no i didnt climb up onto it
 the inscription says EIN 1831 - - try googling it?
 passing the folly we walk up to the Nine Ladies stone circle
 probably the best example of a "Penny Bun" (boletus edulis) i/we have ever seen it was almost covered with leaves.  Once i took the pic i recovered it because a number of people seem to like squashing mushrooms judging by the examples scattered around
 along the blustery track at its highest point, strange to think these tracks are ancient carriageways

even the heather has given up for this year
=============================================
here's an early spring pic of LM, he's still re-establishing himself in the territory after his sojourn and something must have scared him yesterday because he spent most of the day in the bottom of a wardrobe ! - - -
==========================
I managed a little work on the book yesterday putting in some pics and the windows 10 OS on the netbook didn't seem to have any effect on my Microsoft Office 2003 set up.  I'm just hoping there wont be any long term effects that maybe i cant see
-------------------------------------
Its back to the "Alternative Activity" for me tomorrow for 4 days so i had better try and get some of the jobs i promised myself i would do after my last set of shifts! lol
=================================================
 back to a little cool on the Temp this morning
 twas a starry sky earlier and the dawn is carrying the clear sky into the morning, as shown on the weathercam.  Forecasters tell us it will all end in tears though as rain is expected later in the day and early evening
=================================================
Enjoy the day
