Pics of the flooding from Cumbria and Lancashire & we seem to be over the worst in our area

Dramatic pictures in this Metro article  of the after effects from yesterdays rain in northern England .  The severe weather is expected to continue into this morning and there are 67 flood warnings and 123 flood alerts still in force
===========================
The http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ projection for today looks like it might be as windy as yesterday but the rain prediction locally, is for light rain with a hint that it might get a little heavier for a while after dark
======================================
TWC predict  that after a brief respite the wind and rain will be returning although the Temps will be mild for the time of year, before we get another unsettled period of weather
=================================
Locally it was wet and windy yesterday with only brief lulls in the wind before it returned sometimes very strong.  My weather station which only samples the data every 30 mins rather than recording the gusts still managed to record 22.3mph yesterday afternoon.  We have had lots of tree debris on the road and i'm looking forward to taking some pics of the height of the River Derwent, 50 metres away tomorrow.

Local weather stats now
another mild Temp day for us and the rain in last 24hrs record only stands at .12 of an inch indicating how the current weather pattern seems to be leaving our area.
=================
update 07:10
the weathercam shows a full cloudy sky and its raining a little
=======================================================
Enjoy the day
