more migrant woe's & a soggy end to August

 the headline in the Express indicates the migrant problem is responsible for a predicted increase in  population of 20m - - - mind you that figure wont be reached until 2080 - - -
a fresh Charity scandal  hits the front page of the mail - - -
===================================
this Express story about Arctic winds will follow bank holiday weekend washout appears to contradict itself?  Although there's a Met office bit warning of cold air sweeping down through the country the story finishes off by saying there will "be a late summery burst at the weekend" - - -
=========================
 as with most of the country yesterday it rained so it was a soggy walk by the river
 the river is very low at present
 where i'm standing would normally be well underwater
 a mist laden Chatsworth hill in the distance
the left hand blob here is a dipper looking for food, the right hand one appears to be a ball?
=======================================
 a cool 10c this morning after some overnight rain
an earlier shot of the moon on the weathercam
the moon is stll just visible on the "now" pic, rain is more likely as the day go's on according to the forecasts
Enjoy the day
